The aim of Partnership working is to help residents and local service provider’s work together at neighbourhood level to improve and join up local services, and make those services be more responsive to local needs ensuring they deliver priority outcomes.
One of our key partners is the New Deal for Communities (NDC) which is a nationally funded programme from the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit. Doncaster Central has been given £52 million to be spent over a ten year period to transform the area, covering the themes of Employment, Education, Crime, Community Development, Health and Housing and Environment. The Doncaster NDC area covers around 4,400 properties across Nether Hall, Balby Bridge, Hyde Park, Hexthorpe and Balby Woodfield.
