Hyde Park is a defined area within Doncaster’s Central Ward, which also includes Hexthorpe and a small part of Balby. The area extends east and includes the majority of the housing that lies south of Carr House Road; it also includes Elmfield Park on the northern side of this road. The resident population of Hyde Park is 3,356. Hyde Park covers an area of 0.8Km 2, which gives Hyde Park a population density of 4,055 people per Km2, which, compared to the Doncaster average of 506 people per Km2, indicates the built up nature of this neighbourhood.
Town Fields is a defined area within Doncaster, which also includes Belle Vue and Bennetthorpe communities. It falls within the electoral ward of Town Moor.
