What does a Safer Neighbourhood Team do?

The Safer Neighbourhood Team works with the community and partner agencies to help tackle locally identified issues such as quality of life problems like graffiti, noisy neighbours, anti social behaviour and vandalism. Their aim is to listen and talk to local people and to work with them to help reduce crime and improve neighbourhoods and communities to become, safer, cleaner and greener.

Examples of good working relationships between the Police and Council can be found in Doncaster News 2008.
