The Financial Assessments function is part of the Benefits Service within the Financial Services Department, and is based at Colonnades House on Duke Street, Doncaster. The teams responsible for Financial Assessments assist people who are in residential or non residential care and who need financial help towards the costs of their care. The Joint Visiting Team work in partnership with the Pension Service carrying out home visits to gather the financial and personal details from the customer or someone acting on their behalf. At the same time the customer is offered a welfare benefits check to ensure they are receiving all the benefits they are entitled to. Details collected during the visit are assessed and the customer's contribution towards their care is calculated.
You can contact us on the telephone numbers, or at the address, given at the top of this page. We are open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. We have an answering machine service for calls made outside of office hours.
