Civil Renewal of Marriage Vows

The Civil Renewal of Marriage Vows ceremony is intended for any married couple who wish to renew their commitment to one another in a special way. The ceremony can be associated with a special wedding anniversary, such as a tenth, twenty-fifth or fortieth, but it can be appropriate for couples at any stage of their marriage. For example, if you have been married abroad and wish to celebrate the event with family and friends who were unable to attend, then a Renewal of Vows ceremony might be just the thing.

A Renewal of Vows ceremony can be held at the Doncaster Register Office on Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 11:30am, or 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Alternatively, you may prefer to have your ceremony held at one of the many venues in Doncaster already approved for Civil Marriages (see list of venues here). Ceremonies can be held at these venues on Saturdays between 1:00pm and 5:00pm, or Sundays between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Fees currently stand at £43 for a ceremony at the Register Office or £130 for a ceremony at approved premises. (Fees vaid until 31/3/2009.)

If you are interested in a Civil Renewal of Vows ceremony and would like further information, please telephone (01302) 364922 and we would be happy to help.
