Introduction to our services

A complete registration service is provided in respect of births, deaths, stillbirths and marriages. The Superintendent Registrar also advises on registering a building of worship and assists the Proper Officer (currently the Chief Solicitor) in the approval process for registration of premises for civil marriages.

Opening Hours: 

Doncaster Register Office is open from 8:45am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday and Saturday morning by appointment only.

Customers are also able to register births and deaths, and give notice of intention to marry, at the Registrar's Office, Council Offices, Main Street, Mexborough. Office hours at Mexborough are 9:30am to 12:30pm Monday to Friday. Tel: (01302) 735705 for appointment.
