Food Safety and Standards Team
As part of its ongoing commitment to promote air quality and environmentally friendly practices within the Borough, all construction firms and builders who may operate within the Borough have been given advice on how to dispose of waste materials without resorting to burning them on site.
The penalties for producing dark smoke or causing a nuisance by burning waste materials are detailed in the letter.
