Food and Safety Award Schemes

The Food and Safety Team operate a number of award schemes that aim to promote, encourage and reward those local businesses which demonstrate excellent standards of food safety and/or Health and Safety.  At present these schemes consist of:

• The Food Hygiene Award
• The Hairdressing Award
• The Beauty Salon Award                 

Additionally, the Trading Standards Team also operate the following scheme:

• The Responsible Retailer Award
