Who can use the Trade Refuse Service?
The Trade Refuse Service is available to all companies and businesses located within the Doncaster Metropolitan Borough. Please contact Customer Services to discuss your requirements. If you would like a member of staff to visit you to discuss your needs, we will be happy to arrange an on-site visit.

Do I have a legal responsibility when I enter a trade refuse contract?
Yes. Legally you are required to provide details of the type of waste you are disposing of and to ensure that the company who collects, transports and disposes of it is registered to do so. Doncaster Council’s contractor, SITA UK, is registered as a waste carrier. Doncaster Council will provide you with waste transfer notes to fulfil your legal obligation.
My business is producing more waste now than was originally agreed in the contract. What should I do?
You should contact Customer Services on the number given at the top of this web page to have your contract revised to meet your new requirements.
How do I pay for the service?
You can pay for the service in one lump sum or by instalments, monthly, quarterly or bi-annually. We provide a number of payment options:

- Cheque
- On-line payments
What types of waste do you collect as part of the trade refuse service?
The types of waste which are approved by Doncaster Council are as follows:
- Any waste that is defined as commercial waste, industrial waste or household waste e.g. packaging, office/shop waste, catering/food waste, plastics, glass etc.
Unfortunately Doncaster Council cannot collect hazardous waste or liquid wastes.
What services do you provide?
We provide an extensive range of waste collection and disposal services. Our trade refuse collection service offers a variety of containers to suit your every need. These range from wheeled containers of various sizes to skips. We can also provide you with refuse sacks if you have limited space and storage of a container would be a problem. Quotations can be given for one-off collections.
