Conservation Volunteers

The Don Gorge Conservation Volunteers meet each fortnight and carry out a range of practical tasks, which include hedge laying, scrub & tree clearance, coppicing, footpath work, installing benches, surveying & monitoring and getting involved with heritage conservation projects.

New members are always welcome, for more information please contact Dennis Roe, the West Area Countryside Ranger on telephone 01709 864897.

Please ensure that you are equipped with sensible outdoor clothes and sturdy boots, along with a packed lunch and a drink. All tools and equipment required will be provided.

Meet at 10am at the Landings Car Park, off Nursery Lane, Sprotbrough (near to the Boat Inn pub). The day usually runs through to 4pm, depending on weather and the time of year.
