Biodiversity

Biodiversity is the whole variety of life around us, from the familiar robin, spider or dandelion, to the most exotic species in the farthest countries and oceans. The Doncaster Biodiversity Action Partnership is committed to protecting Doncaster's variety of wildlife for future generations and is writing a Doncaster Biodiversity Action Plan to help do this.

This part of the website will tell you more about Doncaster's Biodiversity and the different projects underway to preserve, protect and enhance our wildlife and countryside. You can discover how you can help deliver the Biodiversity Action Plan, whether this is by wildlife gardening at home, submitting species records or getting involved at your local nature reserve.
