Physical Activity

The Physical Activity Development Officer, is responsible for general activity development and health-related exercise. Working largely at the community level, the officer has facilitated community-based aerobics and fitness classes; developed a range of GP referral services; and offered training opportunities for people wishing to deliver activity within their community.

If you are aware of opportunities within your local community to develop activity sessions, or would like to discuss further how your skills may be utilised, contact the Physical Activities Development Officer. Telephone: (01302) 862384 or email: activedoncaster@doncaster.gov.uk

School Links

Active Doncaster actively promotes school-club links, to establish 'exit' routes for young people from school sport into clubs. The service keeps a database of coaches who assist schools and provide a number of opportunities for school competitions.

For assistance on developing school links with clubs, contact the Physical Education Consultant. Telephone: (01302) 737245 or email: activedoncaster@doncaster.gov.uk

Further Assistance

Active Doncaster will try to assist and help volunteers and clubs where possible. The service has resources and experienced officers to assist you and your club.

If you have issues or concerns which are causing you problems, contact Active Doncaster. Telephone: (01302) 737383 or email: activedoncaster@doncaster.gov.uk
