Schools Work - mainly concerned with the raising of standards and achievement on whole school basis through the vehicle of physical education and school sport. This is achieved through support lessons, observation of teaching and learning, support of Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and professional development for schools staff. Work is related to Doncaster Council's Education Service Plan.
Sports Colleges - support for Directors of Sport and physical education departments.
Line management of School Sports Partnerships - 'Flying High' based at Rossington All Saints School and 'Get Active' based at Balby Carr Community Sports College.
Club links - working with clubs and National Governing Bodies (NGB) to help support exit routes for our pupils/students.

National Strategy for Physical Education and Sport Strategy For Young People (PESSYP) to answer the governments PSA target of the 5 hour offer of high quality physical education and school sport.
National Continuing Professional Development programme (CPD) to provide professional development for all school staff and Adults Supporting Learning (ASL) - Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF). This is a programme designed to raise the whole school agenda and confidence of staff delivering physical education and school sport.
Sports Colleges - government lead initiative on specialist schools - three in Doncaster.
School Sports Partnerships - DCSF lead initiative housed within the Sports colleges. Two in Doncaster, Get Active and The Flying High Partnerships.
National Curriculum for Schools - DCSF framework for schoolteachers, both primary and secondary.
Work with Active Doncaster to support all areas of work concerned with schools and school-club links.
