Doncaster Active Partnership

Doncaster Active Partnership was established in December 2006 in response to the government's challenge to increase participation in sport and physical activity through the delivery system for sport and the need to establish a local Community Sports Network (CSN)
The partnership has a broad membership including the health and public sector, voluntary sector, professional clubs and Chamber of Commerce to name a few. These partners have been brought together to build a partnership, which encompasses all aspects of sport and physical activity.
As a young partnership we have quickly developed and are working towards completing the process of fully establishing our self. We are all aware of the benefits sport and physical activity to the individual, community and commerce and as partners we are working closely to take into account these aspects and influence to guide our growth as a group and assist all those who can support our vision.
The Vision
"Increasing access and opportunity to sport and physical activity for all"
Doncaster Active Partnership (CSN) is a fundamental and key element of Sport England's Delivery System for Sport. As part of this system Doncaster Active Partnership is a partner of South Yorkshire sport.
