Octopus Divers
Octopus Divers is a diving club based in Doncaster - affiliated to the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) the worlds largest diving club. They welcome divers trained by other agencies such as PADI, CMAS, SSI, TDI, SAA etc. Their members regularly dive not only around the UK, but also abroad including the Canaries, Egypt, the USA, the Caribbean and Australia.
An important part of the club activities is providing quality training to both beginners and experienced divers.
They undertake their pool training at the Askern & Campsall Sports Centre every fortnight and are the only diving club in the area that has regular access to a 3 metre deep swimming pool. Classroom training is undertaken either at the pool or in the Club House. After pool training on a Thursday night the club also meets at the Owston Lodge pub on the A19 just south of Askern. They also meet there every alternate Thursdays at 8.30 pm.
