About the Club

The club is based at Doncaster Town Fields Sports Club on Bennetthorpe, just a ten minute stroll from the town centre.

It is a hive of activity, with cricket being played almost every day of the season, on its superb facilities.

The club is unique, it has been recognized by the ECB as a Focus Club, and can boast new facilities that are amongst the best in the country.

The club has a policy that anyone can join, regardless of age, race, ability, disability, sex, and it has a Child Protection policy that has been used as a template for other sports clubs to use.

In all, the club runs 5 Open Age teams, including a team in the ECB Oxbridge Yorkshire Premier League, and junior teams that play in organized structured leagues from under 11s to under 17s.

Boys and girls are welcome to come and have a go from the age of 5, where the emphasis is on enjoyment, and their parents can watch them having fun whilst having a drink in the bar,or on the patio.

During the summer of 2006, the First Team will be joined from Pakistan by Kashif Raza, an International Bowler, who is looking forward to showing the people of Doncaster his skills.

You are most welcome to come and have a look at us, anytime, and to come and watch any game that takes your fancy. All our fixtures, and events, as well as contact details, are on the club website at www.doncastertowncc.co.uk
