The Traditional Car Club of Doncaster is dedicated to the maintenance, restoration and use of classic cars from all marques. We meet fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at Owston Hall, Doncaster throughout the year. Our meetings are always very well attended with 50-80 members always there. During the season, when the weather is kind, we have an area to one side of the hall which is provided for our vehicles and on many occasions this has looked like a very presentable classic car rally, with up-to 40 cars turning out.
Club members own vehicles from every period of classic motoring, from the very earliest days to the more modern classics and exotica of recent years.

To become a full member, you must own a vehicle at least 25 years old, however, you don’t need to own a vehicle at all to become an associate member, you simply need an interest in classic cars. Associate members have all the same rights as full members.
If you aren’t sure about joining, we invite you to come along to up-to three club nights as our guest before making your decision. This gives prospective new members the chance to see if we are what they are looking for before joining.
During the Winter months we arrange guest speakers and quizzes for members and have a very special Christmas lunch at Owston Hall.
Entry to all our events is free to members and in addition to club nights we organise occasional get together at local hostelries at lunch times and evenings. These are also generally very well attended.
2007 is the 40th anniversary of the formation of the club and we still have members who were at the inaugural meeting back in 1967. To celebrate the anniversary we intend to organise a special event and are considering a road run abroad. More information on these will be available as the time approaches.
Every month the club produces the Tradsheet, the club magazine, which contains information on future events, articles on members vehicles and rallies we have attended. The Tradsheet is typically 12 to 14 pages including some commercial adverts, but mainly aims to keep the membership informed about what is happening in the Classic Car world in general and locally.
