Recent works include the provision of disabled shower/toilet facilities for both the wet and dryside, entrance ramps, new access doors, parking provision and the installation of a new pool hoist.     

Opened as a swimming pool in 1966, a sauna suite and fitness suite were added in 1974 and 1989 respectively. Further improvements were made by extending and totally referbishing the gym in 2007 which resulted in the loss of the dated sauna.

 With the help of friendly, well-trained staff, the centre offers the following:
