Armthorpe Sports Centre opened a state of the art two level fitness studio. The fitness studio is equipped with Technogyms' latest design elements equipment, which comprises of 65 pieces of equipment a mixture of cardio vascular and resistance with entertainment systems on most. You have the luxury of watching your favourite programme or listen to your own music while exercising.

Showarounds
During the show around the Fitness instructor will provide you with a ParQ form (Medical questionaire) which must be completed. Your blood pressure will be taken and an application form completed. Please bring with you proff of ID, and bank details. this saves time should you decide to join the Fitness suite. The next step is to book an Induction.
Inductions
Inductions Consist of fitness instructor taking you around the fitness suite, they will then demonstrate each piece of equipment and its use. along with the wellness system which monitors your progress during each work out. this system also allows the fitness instructor to leave you messages or visa versa. you can also access your programe from home on the website, this allows you to update your program with other activities, such as walking swimming etc.
Programs
You will be given a program once you have completed your free training period. a Programs will then be provided for you to pursue. the programes will be taylor made to suite each individual.
Each gym member has his or her own wellness key system to operate the equipment. This keeps a record of all your activities and progress of your programme. Your programme will be specifically tailored to you requirements and re-assessed at regular stages.
On the ground floor there is Technogyms' Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant equipment to encourage people with disabilities to utilise the studio.
