GOOD NEWS - FREE SWIMMING is continuing in all Doncaster Council run swimming pools for over 60's and under 16's. The Dome is only offering free swimming at restricted times for people aged 16 or under, please check with them for details.
To access the free swimming children must have a Champion Sports Pass and over 60's must have the NEW 60+ Leisure Card or provide proof of age via a bus pass, driving licence, birth certificate or passport.
The centre offers a wide range of activities with the help of friendly, well-trained staff. The centre provides the following:
- Comprehensive Programme of Activities
- NEW up to date changing facilities for people with disabilities, including a mechanical lifting system
- 25 metre swimming pool - NEW hoist to support people who have difficulty get into and out of the pool
- Teaching pool
- First floor Spectator Balcony
- Large multi-purpose Sports Hall
- 2 Squash Courts including Viewing Gallery
- Central Reception Area catering for bookings, equipment sales and including a variety of vending machines
- Fitness Studio with 'state of the art' gym equipment, including a hi - spec spinning bike studio
- Family Room
- Car Park for approximately 150 cars
- Three floodlit all-weather games areas suitable for five-a-side football, basketball, tennis and netball
- A GP Referral Specialist and a Healthy Eating Scheme
