Mexborough's market dates back more than 800 years. Over the generations its shape and location has been changed on several occasions to meet the changing needs of the local community. The Market moved to its current location in 1975 into a purpose built Market Hall and outdoor market right in the heart of Mexborough.
There is ample free parking adjacent to the market allowing easy access to over 90 stalls offering a wide range of goods including fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and many other goods too numerous to mention, all served with that personal touch only available at your local community market. All local town centre amenities and shops are within a couple of minutes walk of the market.
Full market days are Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays with a second hand market held every Thursday although many traders in the Market Hall are open 6 days a week Monday to Saturday.
Stalls are now available for a range of commodities at this busy, friendly indoor and outdoor market.
