Lifebelts

The Council has an obligation to provide information and direct service enquiries on this matter as part of it's commitment to the Local Government Services List and the Integrated Public Service Vocabulary.

The geography of the Metropolitan Borough does not contain any sea boundaries however Doncaster does contain many waterside facilities and developments for both the River Don which extends East to West throughout the Borough, Hatfield Water Park and also constructed lakes such as Lakeside. 

Doncaster Council does not currently provide Lifebelts next to rivers, waterways or waterfronts however the Council is obliged to provide lifebelts when necessary and when they can be practicably maintained.

Doncaster Council does provide lifebelts at Water Actvity centres such as Hatfield Water Park.
