Countryside Projects for Schools at Sandall Beat Community Environment Centre
Doncaster Council’s Countryside Community Environment Service offers a wide range of educational projects designed to raise pupils’ awareness of their local environment.
The projects are provided at competitive rates and are led by experienced staff.
Projects listed are undertaken at Sandall Beat Local Nature Reserve, where a classroom, resource base, kitchen facilities, toilets and parking are available.
Advance booking is essential and you are advised to give as much notice as possible to help us meet your requirements.
Each Project will:
- Meet specified aims and objectives
- Provide first-hand local countryside experience
- Be appropriate for an identified age range
- Encourage positive attitudes towards the environment
- Enhance understanding of basic ecological concepts
