Edlington Pit Wood is your community woodland that has been developed with the local community and partner organisations.
The newly planted woodland is criss crossed with paths and surfaced tracks, and provides an ideal place for walkers, cyclists and horse riders to explore and enjoy.
The 37 1/2 hectare site has a lot to offer through a variety of trees, grasslands, wetlands and ponds and provides great views over the local countryside and Doncaster.
The park is situated off Broomhouse Lane, Edlington, Doncaster.
For further information about the woodland please contact the Edlington Neighbourhood Team Countryside Ranger Dennis Roe on (01302) 736406.
