Six Book Challenge 2008

Each year adults who don't have a lot of time for reading or don't read very much are challenged to read six books from Doncaster Libraries' First Choice sections, which include the brand new "Quick Read" books - a series of short paperbacks written by best-selling authors.

This year's event is brought to us by The Reading Agency in association with Costa Book Awards.  A Costa coffee card is provided for each person who takes part.

Read six books and be entered into the prize draw

Those who complete the challenge before 30th June 2008 will be entered into a national prize draw to win a VIP trip to London with tickets to a West End show, all expenses paid.  However the challenge can be completed anytime throughout the year.

This is part of the national Six Book Challenge campaign.  Readers from Doncaster who finished the 2007 challenge received a certificate, a High Street voucher and entry into the BBC prize draw.  The winner of the 2007 regional draw was Mrs Gail Orridge from Armthorpe, who won a family trip to London for 4 people.
