Renew books, CDs and DVDs on loan

An item may be renewed for a further loan period providing another borrower has not requested it. A maximum of three renewals are allowed.  

Please note that the renewal of CDs or DVDs incurs a fee which will be the same as the loan charge made when the item was borrowed.  This charge will be added to your membership record. 

There are several ways in which you can renew your items:

• By visiting a library and asking a member of staff to renew your loans

• By telephone

• In writing - by letter or email

• Online through the link to the Library Catalogue & Membership Records

You will need your borrower number (on your library card) or the barcode number of the items you wish to renew. If you are renewing online you will need to have a PIN (Personal Identification Number). Please ask a member of staff if you do not have one.
