Details of charges

Borrowers aged 16 or over are charged fines on all items returned late. If an overdue reminder has been sent through the post, all borrowers pay a standard charge, currently 60p per reminder.

Overdue charges per day from April 2009:

• Books - 15p
• CDs - 25p
• DVDs - 60p

Young people under 16 years old and users of the Mobile or Housebound Services are exempt from overdue charges.
