Library Elf offer a basic free service and a premium service (charges apply) which:
Notifies you by e-mail or RSS feeds when items you have borrowed from the library are due back - you can specify how many days in advance of the due date you would like to be told.
Lets you know immediately when your books, CD's ets. become overdue - you can choose to be reminded daily until you take them back.
Informs you when an item that you have requested from the library is ready for you to collect. (Premium service)
Allows you to add other library cards (for example your children's) to your Library Elf account, so that you can easily see when all the families library books are due for return. (Premium service)
Please note that Library Elf has no connection to Doncaster Council, or our library management system supplier.
We cannot guarantee the security or operation of this service, which our customers use at their own discretion.
Faults or changes with Library Elf are outside the remit of Doncaster Council, and any errors in Library Elf that result in your failing to renew or return your items will incur fines.

You will need to specify your e-mail address, a password, and your library card number and PIN. If you do not have a PIN please contact your nearest Doncaster library.
This can be used to search for any item in the stock of Doncaster Library and Information Services, and display location of items and whether or not they are immediately available.
Items can be requested for collection at your nearest library. Please note a charge will be added to your membership record for this.
Searches can be made simply using a variety of details such as title, author, composer, etc., or more advanced searches made using all available known details.
