What are the Central Reference Library's opening hours?

Can I send and receive a Fax from the Reference Library?

Yes, although there is a charge for this service.  Our fax number is 01302 369749

Do you have a photocopier in the Reference Library?

Yes, we are able to provide A4 and A3 black and white copies, there is a charge of 10p per sheet for A4 copies and 20p per sheet for A3 copies.

Do you have a scanner in the Reference Library?

Yes, although it may be advisable to book this in advance either in person, by telephone (01302 734320) or by email reference.library@doncaster.gov.uk,  quoting your library membership number.  Colour copies may be printed at a charge of 40p per copy. 

Do you keep British Standards in the Reference Library?

We have hard copies of British Standards up to 1991. British Standards are available to view online, please see the online library services page.

Are there any other 24 hour online information services I can access?

Yes, these can be accessed from the online library services page.

Can I search the library catalogue and renew my library books online?

Yes, the library catalogue can be accessed from the following page: Library Catalogue and Membership Records.

How do I become a member of the library?

Does the Reference Library have public internet access?

Yes, we have 33 terminals. Although you do need to be a member of the library to use the computers.

How many books can I take out?

Can I return my books to any Library?

Yes.

For how long can I rent a DVD from the Library and how much will it cost?

Currently (2008) DVDs may be borrowed for 1 week for a fee of £2.20

How long after the release date are new CDs available for rental in the Library?

New CDs are available for loan after 12 weeks
