Doncaster Library and Information Services sells books previously held in stock and that are now in poor condition or the information contained is out of date.
Most libraries, have a selection of books on sale all the time.
From time to time books are put aside until a sufficient number has been collected to allow a sale to take place over two or three days. These sales are advertised in libraries and the local press beforehand.
Book sales may also include CDs, DVDs, videos and spoken word recordings.
