
Doncaster Civic Theatre has a 495 seat, single storey proscenium auditorium that has been the mainstay of arts activity in Doncaster since the 1970's, attracting over 70,000 visits a year to a varied and lively entertainments programme.
Currently funded and operated by Doncaster Council, its programme is a mix of professional entertainment and artistic product alongside a thriving local amateur scene and an extremely successful annual Pantomime production.

In Person: The Box Office at the Theatre is open from 10am to 6.00pm Monday to Saturday. Tickets can also be booked at the Tourist Information Centre at the Blue Building, 38 - 40 High Street, Doncaster (opening hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 10am to 5pm on Fridays and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays).
By Post: Send full payment to: Civic Theatre, Box Office, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3ET (cheques made payable to DMBC). Please enclose an SAE for return of tickets or add 50p onto your booking for postage.
By Phone: Call 01302 342349. Please be patient as our lines do get busy, or leave a message on our answerphone and we will call you back. Credit/ Debit card payments will incur a 50p booking charge (to cover cost of PDQ) per transaction and tickets will be sent out by first class post if required (50p) or held for collection at the performance.

Reservations: Tickets will only be held for five days; if tickets are booked by telephone, post, internet or fax less than one week before a performance, they will not be posted out but must be collected from the Box Office 30 minutes before the start of the performance.
Refunds: We regret we cannot refund or exchange tickets.

Concessions: These rates only apply to children aged 16 years or under, adults over 60 years not in full-time employment, UB40 holders, full-time students, registered disabled plus one carer (carer is free). Proof of eligibility required.
Latecomers: May be asked to wait for a suitable break in the performance.
Accessibility: The theatre is accessible via a ramp in the foyer and bookable spaces are available for wheelchair users. If you require one of these, please notify the box office when booking your ticket. An Induction Loop System is available when electronic instruments are not used in the performance.
