The Fringe
The Fringe is an artists' led, constituted, not for profit group that was started to help raise the profile of the visual arts in Doncaster. The Fringe exists to promote and enhance the work of its membership, which is made up of professional, or actively striving to be professional, artists and crafts people. Attendance at the frequent meeting/networking opportunities is optional, but very popular among members! For more information on membership, please contact Martin Pick on: martin.pick@gmail.com
Doncaster Voluntary Arts Network (DVAN)
DVAN is an organisation supported by Doncaster Council and comprising over 200 voluntary arts groups in Doncaster (choirs, drama groups, dance schools, art clubs etc.). The network organises the annual Doncaster Cultural Festival and provides ongoing support for local groups. You can join DVAN and have your group listed on the website, by completing the application form that is attached to this page.

The Alliance for Dance in Doncaster brings together key individuals and organisations with shared ambitions for increasing the diversity, quality and visibility of dance across Doncaster, and for enhancing the profile of dance made in and made by Doncaster regionally, nationally and internationally.

Wayne Sables Project
Doncaster-based Wayne Sables Project(WSP) devises dance theatre and dance film for tour nationally and internationally. Appealing to a broad audience ranges WSP challenges the perception of dance through the use of human emotions.
Doncaster Youth Dance Platform
15 local youth dance groups took part in this years platform, with over 170 young people performing at Doncaster Civic Theatre. If you’d like your youth dance group to perform as part of Doncaster HotHouse on 23 May 2012, please download the below application form.

Big Dance 2012
Big Dance is set to be the ultimate dance experience in 2012! The biennial festival will feature 9 days of dance in unusual spaces throughout the UK, showing casing the diversity of dance styles across the country, from 18 May to 9 September 2012. Everyone is invited to be part of Big Dance 2012 - all dancers, all dance styles, all sorts of locations.

Doncaster Youth Jazz Association (DYJA)
The first Doncaster-based youth jazz orchestra was formed 36 years ago, and continues to work promoting, through jazz education, a feeling of community and a real appreciation of how much it means to create something as part of a team. DYJA comprises four graded ensembles: Doncaster Youth Stageband, Doncaster Youth Swing Orchestra, Doncaster Youth Jazz Orchestra (DYJO) and Doncaster Jazz Orchestra (DJO - Alumni).

Doncaster Folk Festival
The annual Doncaster Folk Festival showcases a mixture of national and international Folk and Acoustic performers as well as upcoming local talent. Educational musical workshops are held by established specialists in their fields with all-comers welcome. Other highlights include a Ceilidh night, Morris Dancing displays and a Sunday sing-around, all hosted by both the Ukrainian Centre on Beckett Road, Doncaster College for the Deaf and town centre venues.
