About the Choice Advice Service

The Choice Advice Service was introduced by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) to provide support and impartial advice to parents/carers applying for a secondary school place for their child.

What can the Choice Adviser help me with?

The Choice adviser can help with:

Information about Doncaster schools
Help in completing the application form
Understanding the admissions system
Information on schools policies
Details of school hours and term dates
Information on transport details
Details of OFSTED reports and league tables

If your child has special educational needs, you may find it helpful speaking to the Parent Partnership Service, who provide support to families with children who have special educational needs.
