Admissions to Church Aided, Foundation Schools and Academies

If your child has a Statement of Special Educational Need, or a proposed statement, then you should contact the SEN team on (01302) 737241.

The Local Authority works with Church Aided, Foundation Schools and Academies to co-ordinate admission arrangements to schools in Doncaster in order to minimise confusion to parents.

Admissions to Church Aided, Foundation Schools and Academies are dealt with by the respective Governing Body of the school. These schools are marked VA-RC (Roman Catholic) or VA-CE (Church of England) and F (Foundation) on our schools database.

Further information on each Governing Body's admissions policy, admission procedures and details of how to obtain application forms can be obtained from the school concerned or from the Booklets accessible from the Forms and Documents page in the left hand menu.

If you are considering applying for a place at either an aided school or the foundation school you should read the section "Applying for a School Place" for more information.
