About Performance Analysis
This module provides a fully integrated set of tools for the detailed analysis of pupil achievement
It is a valuable tool for analysing the results stored in Assessment. Schools can use Performance Analysis to reflect on the achievement of their pupils in relation to local and nationally published benchmarks. The progress of an individual pupil or group can be compared against the average progress of a group and local and nationally published benchmarks.
Performance Analysis is particularly useful to assist in school self evaluation and target setting. Schools are further assisted by a set of integrated graphs that can be applied to present pupil outcomes
• Supports the comparison of attainment against national and local benchmarks - including DfES Autumn Package
• Supports the identification of strengths and weakness within the school
• Informs the target setting process - sets targets based on prior attainment data
• Automatically creates and exports targets to Assessment Manager
• Monitors progress towards defined goals
• Undertakes complex statistical calculations accurately and reliably
• Reviews and compares outcomes for students from similar starting points
• Allows comparison of achievement within different curriculum areas
