SIMS Support Service
About the service
The SIMS (Schools Information Management Systems) Support Service provides advice, support and training for users of computer based management information systems that help school leadership teams administer and manage their schools to achieve school improvement targets and comply with the Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) Information Strategy.
The Service will provide:
- consultancy and advice on the use of information systems in school,
- implementation of new SIMS modules,
- testing and installation of software upgrades,
- continued technical development of the SIMS system,
- training in SIMS and Microsoft Office software used in school administration,
- telephone and on site support to resolve usage and software problems.
