Obtaining a mentor

Mentoring is a relationship between a young person and an adult that will provide the young person with:

Learning Mentors are based in all but one Doncaster secondary schools. Learning mentor teams often consist of a senior learning mentor, one to four additional learning mentors and one Yr 6/7  transfer/transition learning mentor.

Aimhigher Schools in Doncaster have access to Learning Mentors to support the Widening Participation cohort as determined by individual schools. They may also access Aimhigher funding for additional mentoring support through undergraduates at local Higher Education Institutes(HEIs) and have a funded National Mentoring Pilot Project (NMPP) programme operating also.
