Doncaster Aimhigher Plan
Priorities for Doncaster are:
- Raise aspiration 14-19 for progression to FE, HE and higher-level vocational training
- Raise levels of attainment at Key Stage 4 (KS4) to allow more learners to progress to L3 and beyond
- Provide information, advice and guidance to all learners to support their progression decisions
- Increase numbers progressing to L3 in schools, colleges and work based training
- Increase the percentage of the cohort entering higher education by 19
- Broaden the curriculum and develop quality collaborative provision to enable more learners to progress along their chosen route
The Local Authority Vision is that:
Doncaster will be a borough where high quality learning opportunities raise everyone’s aspirations and quality of life.
