A paediatrician's guide to your children's health

Keepkidshealthy.com is designed as "a paediatrician's guide to your children's health and safety". It is not meant to replace the medical advice that you receive from your doctor.  Instead, it aims to supplement the information that you receive from your child's doctor, with a special emphasis on better health through preventative care.

"As I do not feel it is possible to diagnose a child's illness without a physical examination, keepkidshealthy.com will not dispense advice about your children's specific medical problems, especially for acute situations. We will accept questions, but will only answer those that are thought to be of general interest to other parents in the "Ask the Paediatrician" forum. We will also not prescribe or refill medications through the website"

Vincent Iannelli, M.D., F.A.A.P., President of Keep Kids Healthy, LLC

Sex education help line

If you are under 18 and want information on anything to do with sex, relationships or contraception, you may find it on this site. The site was set up to give young people the chance to talk frankly in confidence about sex, relationships and contraception, and so help reduce unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.

An independent charity runs the helpline. The phones are answered by friendly and helpful professional advisers. All the advisers are experienced in working with young people, and highly trained in giving advice about sexual health, contraception, sex and your relationships, and pregnancy.
