Parents Forum & Information Sheets

Making A Difference - The Parents Way

Doncaster's parents have formed a Parent Forum that enables parents to have a say in the way services are delivered to families who have children with additional needs and/or disabilities.

We like to encourage parents who aren’t yet part of the forum to join us. Everyone is made to feel welcome and new parents to the forum are just as important to us as the existing members. We believe all parents should have a voice about the way services are delivered to their family.

Parents who have a child aged 0-25 and their child has an additional need or disability are welcome to join the forum. You can have your voice heard too.

Making A Difference forum hold both formal meetings (four times per year) as well as getting together for social events.

MAD Dads

If you are part of M.A.D. and you are a Dad, then join M.A.D. Dads!

Dads and male carers are invited to join other dads in Making A Difference for their child.

Refreshments are provided and the group meet informally on the first Wednesday of each month starting at 6.30pm.

Children are welcome to come along too as play workers are available on site to care for your child while dads are chatting.

Please contact us for venue details if you would like to join us or with any other queries: dads@madparentforum.com
