A Joint Review of how Doncaster Council and Primary Care Trust commission services and support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs is being undertaken. The first of its kind, it involved officers from the Healthcare Commission, Commission for Social Care Inspection and the Mental Health Act Commission visiting users and carers during a period of time in September and October. They also met with staff and managers across the Council, PCT and RDaSH, who are involved in commissioning and providing services.
