Social Education Centres for people with Learning Disabilities
There are five Social Education Centres in Doncaster for people with Learning Disabilities. An assessment by Doncaster Council is needed to access these services.
The Centres offer a variety of activities and training to meet individual needs, for example, Adwick also has a horticultural unit where training is provided which leads to a recognised qualification, and Hayfield has connections with Hayfield Wheelers, a cycle repair shop run by adults with a learning disability.
Services users at all the Centres have an opportunity to take part in a range of activities.
