Telecare is the provision of assistive technology products/equipment which are linked up to the Community Alarm Service that operates for 24 hrs a day, all year round to help people to live at home independently.

The service is for people who are experiencing difficulties in relation to independent living because of their illness condition eg:
Dementia
Epilepsy
Diabetes
Other physical/mental disabilities
Other long term condition
Feel vulnerable or have a real or perceived fear of crime
and who would benefit from Telecare.
This equipment will help to assist you in living safely and independently in your own home within the community with peace of mind as there will be someone on the other end of the phone to respond to any alerts that are triggered from the equipment.
By referring to us through the e-form link below. Please give basic details asked for on the form.
For example:
Your details as referrer (as we may need to speak to you or have your involvement)
The name of the person you are referring giving their name, address, date of birth, and personal details.
Then submit the form to us.
Alternatively, you can print off the pdf version below, complete it and post it to the address on the form.
There will be a small weekly charge for the service once the equipment has been installed. There is no charge for the equipment or installation.
You can be financially assessed for the service or can also be referred to the Benefits Advice and Tribunal Unit (BATU) in order to find out if you qualify for any benefits to help you maximise your finances.
