The following documents contain summaries of the consultation results.

Interim Planning Position Statements

The Interim Planning Position Statements cover the proposed position on a number of key planning issues in the period before the new Local Development Framework is adopted. These are: the amount of affordable housing required on new developments; proposed lifting of the Council’s Greenfield Moratorium; the approach to assessing planning applications for employment sites; Finningley and Rossington Regeneration Route Scheme.

The planning system in Doncaster is in a transitional phase between the Unitary Development Plan, which was adopted in 1998, and the emerging Local Development Framework (LDF) documents, which are due for submission between 2008 and 2010 and for adoption between 2009 and 2011. The consultation was seeking people's views on the planning position in the interim period.

For more information on the LDF see the website: LDF

Consultation ended on: 23rd November 2007

The results will be published on the LDF pages shortly.
