The Responsible Retailer Award

What is the Responsible Retailer Award?

Doncaster Responsible Retailer Logo

The Responsible Retailer Award is an accreditation scheme aimed at achieving and recognising high standards of management in businesses selling Age-Restricted products.

Doncaster Council has been successfully running the RRA scheme for over 10 years. The new version of the award follows the award winning Best Bar None format. The award is now tiered, with Pass, Merit and Distinction awards and also covers a wider range of criteria; this will give entrants an added incentive to continue raising the bar.

RRA also offers training and guidance to help retailers avoid selling age-restricted products, such as alcohol, tobacco, solvents and knives to children and young people.
