The service

The Council's Corporate Programmes Team is responsible for pro-actively seeking funding opportunities; strengthening partnership working and installing robust programme governance across the delivery of the council’s shared priorities.

The Team provides a focal point for partners, community groups and the public to access advice and guidance relating to the often complex rules and regulations of UK and European funding.

The Team acts as lead accountable body and provides support, advice and guidance relating to a wide range of funding opportunities.
 
The funders that we work with include almost all major players in the domestic and European external funding arena including:-

• European Social Fund (ESF)

• European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

• Regional Growth Fund

• Structural Funds 2014-2020

• Going Places Fund

• Coalfield Regeneration Trust

• Heritage Lottery Fund

• Big Lottery Fund

• Sport England

• Section 106 Agreements

• CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy)

The Team also monitors externally funded initiatives being delivered by the Council to ensure contracted spend and performance targets are met.
