Our Services

Assets and Property team provides an essential corporate support and consultancy service to efficiently and effectively manage Doncaster Council's land and property.

The team is made up of two sections:

• Asset Management
• Property Consultancy

What we do

1. Prepare and review the Corporate Asset Management Plan
2. Formulate and implement the Investment Strategy
3. Develop and manage the Corporate Accommodation Strategy
4. Undertake property management and valuation
5. Establish and maintain a database of council land and property assets
6. Provision of professional property advisory service

We will

• Ensure the efficient, effective and sustainable use of land and property to meet the key objectives and vision of the Borough Strategy
• Maximise the contribution of land and property to deliver the Authority’s Corporate Plan
• Generate capital to support the Authority’s Medium Term Financial Strategy
• Maximise the contribution of land and property to deliver solutions that promote the regeneration of the borough, reflecting the benefits of partnership working to produce excellent facilities for the people of Doncaster
• Provide innovative accommodation solutions that will assist the improvement of our services and meet the needs and expectations of all our stakeholders and customers
• Minimise the cost of holding land and property whilst getting the best value for the Authority’s land and property
• Manage and maintain assets to deliver improved sustainability, reduced carbon dioxide(CO2) emissions and energy consumption
